You understand the complexities of the semiconductor industry and have experience working with silicon foundries and OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) suppliers — your knowledge enables you to navigate the challenges of sourcing custom silicon effectively. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to assess supplier performance and make data-driven decisions.

What you'll do

As the Commercial Sourcing Manager, you will lead the sourcing strategy for Meta's custom silicon initiatives, focusing on silicon foundries and OSAT suppliers. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, ensuring that they meet performance expectations and contractual obligations. Your role will involve conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluating their capabilities to support Meta's data center operations.

You will drive commercial negotiations with suppliers, aiming to secure the best possible terms for Meta while fostering long-term partnerships. Your expertise in supplier management will be crucial in monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues that arise, ensuring that the supply chain remains resilient and responsive to changing demands.

Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with engineering and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with project timelines and specifications.
