Overview

Amazon is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for their Brazil Transportation Team to enhance delivery speed and customer experience. Who you are

You have a strong background in operations management, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a logistics or transportation environment. You are analytical and innovative, with a proven track record of delivering results and improving customer experience. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. Your hands-on approach allows you to dive deep into data and develop actionable insights that drive performance improvements. You are customer-obsessed and understand the importance of meeting speed requirements in a competitive landscape. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to write strategic documents and reports that effectively convey your findings and recommendations.

Desirable

Experience in the transportation or logistics sector is a plus, as is familiarity with speed improvement strategies and tools. A background in data analysis or project management will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing the Brazil Network speed planning and management. You will develop a detailed strategy to meet speed requirements and enhance customer experience in alignment with Amazon's business goals. You will analyze current operations and create a speed improvement plan that connects all operational nodes, including fulfillment centers and delivery stations. Your role will involve developing tools and mechanisms to bridge speed improvement goals and optimize the cost to serve across channels. You will also be tasked with developing reports to communicate speed results and analyze performance metrics that affect speed. Collaboration with the Delivery Experience team and other operations teams will be crucial to ensure that all strategies are effectively implemented.
