Amazon is seeking a Senior EHS Specialist to ensure the safety and health of employees across their Sort Centers in Germany. This role involves implementing safety protocols and collaborating with regional teams to maintain safety standards. Strong English skills are required for this position.
You have extensive experience in occupational safety and health, ideally with a focus on EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards. Your proactive approach ensures the safety and well-being of all employees, and you are skilled in implementing and monitoring safety protocols across multiple locations. You possess strong communication skills, particularly in English, which allows you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and report to regional leadership. You are familiar with safety regulations and best practices, and you have a track record of successfully managing safety projects that reduce risks in the workplace.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and health of employees at Amazon's Sort Centers in Germany. You will proactively engage with teams to implement safety protocols and monitor compliance with safety standards. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including operations and transport teams, to create a culture of safety within the organization. You will manage improvement projects aimed at reducing risks and enhancing safety measures across the network. Additionally, you will report directly to the regional manager based in the UK, necessitating good English language skills for effective communication.
