As a Software Development Engineer on our AB 3P Tech team, you'll work with a highly technical, entrepreneurial team building distributed systems that power the B2B selling experience. You'll drive end-to-end development from design to delivery, make strategic technology decisions, and mentor junior engineering talent. Your team will own critical systems spanning from Seller Central to Amazon Business detail pages, cart, and checkout for merchant-fulfilled offers.

Key job responsibilities
You'll architect and build scalable solutions using Web Services, APIs, and Micro-Services architecture. Working within our entrepreneurial team, you'll drive development of high-performance systems, implementing industry-leading design patterns and coding practices.
Your role combines technical leadership with hands-on development. You'll mentor junior engineers while partnering with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Strong communication skills are essential as you'll lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions.
You'll contribute to innovation through emerging technologies and business challenges. You'll own software engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle - from coding standards and reviews to build processes and operations, while helping establish engineering excellence.

- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
