Amazon is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment. You'll work with automated packaging and distribution equipment in Memphis, Tennessee.
You are a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician with a strong foundation in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You have experience with automated systems and are eager to develop your skills further while mentoring junior technicians. Your technical background includes knowledge of Arduino and Embedded Linux, which you apply to ensure the reliability of equipment in a fast-paced environment. You are detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement, understanding the importance of maintaining operational efficiency in a large-scale operation like Amazon.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will work closely with the Operations Maintenance team to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions that enhance the reliability of our systems. Your day-to-day tasks will involve hands-on work with robotics and material handling equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their roles.
