Axon is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the accounting and finance transformation for their German subsidiaries. You'll work with US GAAP and HGB standards, focusing on ERP systems and local statutory reporting.
You have a robust background in accounting with a strong understanding of both US GAAP and HGB — your experience includes managing complex transition and post-merger integration projects, particularly those focused on ERP systems. You possess a proven track record in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of month-end close processes, and you are adept at navigating local statutory reporting requirements. Your analytical skills are complemented by your ability to work collaboratively across teams, ensuring that financial operations align with broader business objectives.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can take ownership of your work and drive real change — your proactive approach allows you to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all financial reporting. Your communication skills enable you to connect with diverse stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.
Experience with financial transformation initiatives in a manufacturing or supply chain context would be advantageous — familiarity with intercompany flows across legal entities is a plus. You are comfortable working with various accounting software and ERP systems, and you have a keen interest in leveraging technology to enhance financial processes.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the financial landscape of Axon's operations in Germany — you will lead the accounting and finance transformation efforts, ensuring compliance with both US GAAP and HGB standards. You will oversee the month-end close processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the integration of ERP systems and local statutory reporting requirements, helping to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that financial practices align with the company's mission to protect life — your insights will help drive strategic decisions and support the overall growth of the organization. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their professional development.
At Axon, you will be part of a mission-driven organization that values collaboration and innovation — you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that have a real impact on society. We offer a supportive work environment where you can grow and develop your skills while contributing to a cause that matters. Our culture encourages diverse perspectives and values the contributions of every team member, ensuring that you feel valued and empowered in your role.
We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — we believe that diverse teams build better products and that your unique background can bring valuable insights to our team.
