You are a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care to women during all stages of motherhood. You have at least one year of experience working with the perinatal population and understand the unique challenges faced by women during this time. Your background includes at least six months of telehealth experience, allowing you to effectively engage with patients in a virtual setting. You are dedicated to making a profound impact on maternal mental health and are excited about the opportunity to grow with an early-stage startup.
You possess strong clinical skills and are comfortable managing patients throughout various reproductive life stages, including menopause. Your holistic approach to care combines therapy, peer support, and medication management, ensuring that you address the comprehensive needs of your patients. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to work closely with other clinicians and the Director of Medical Operations to deliver exceptional care.
While not required, experience in a startup environment or familiarity with women's behavioral health services would be advantageous. You are adaptable and open to learning new approaches to enhance patient care. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues is essential, as you will be part of a mission-driven organization focused on improving maternal mental health outcomes.
In this fully remote, contract position, you will provide psychiatric care to women experiencing perinatal mood disorders such as postpartum depression and anxiety. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress throughout their care journey. Your role will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive support tailored to their individual needs.
You will engage with patients through telehealth platforms, utilizing your telehealth experience to create a comfortable and supportive environment for discussions about mental health. Your responsibilities will include prescribing medications as needed, providing therapy, and facilitating peer support to help patients navigate their mental health challenges. You will also be responsible for documenting patient interactions and maintaining accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
As part of your role, you will participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices for delivering virtual care. You will have the opportunity to share your insights and experiences, helping to shape the future of maternal mental health services at Seven Starling. Your work will directly impact the lives of women and their families, making a meaningful difference in their mental health journeys.
Seven Starling is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment where you can thrive. As a remote team member, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while being part of a mission-driven organization. We value your expertise and are dedicated to providing you with the resources and support needed to succeed in your role.
