SFMOMA is seeking an Intellectual Property, Rights Intern to assist in managing digital records related to art and artists. This role is ideal for current students or recent graduates looking to gain experience in a cultural institution.
You are currently enrolled in school or have recently graduated within the last six months. You have a strong interest in art and cultural institutions, and you are eager to learn about the management of digital records related to art and artists. You are passionate about inclusivity and the role of art in society, and you are ready to contribute to a team that values diverse perspectives.
As an Intellectual Property, Rights Intern at SFMOMA, you will work closely with the Archives and Art Resources department to support the management of the museum's digital records. You will assist in organizing and maintaining collections, ensuring that access to these records is generous and inspiring. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to enhance the museum's digital asset management systems and contribute to the overall mission of providing access to modern and contemporary art.
This internship offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week from June 15 to August 14. You will gain valuable experience in a leading cultural institution, working alongside professionals who are dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging and purpose within the museum.
