Job Description

Selling Partners are a critical part of Amazon's ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth's largest selection and lowest prices. New legislations and the changing compliance landscape in Europe have required Amazon to take the forefront on Selling Partners' compliance through awareness, education and compliance solutions. This senior role will lead programs with multi-billion-dollar impact that enable Amazon Selling Partners to sell in EU within the Sustainability and Environmental compliance space. Specifically, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-level strategies for selling partner communication and engagement as well as providing strategic insights to enhance the Selling Partner experience. You will also be responsible for overseeing the creation of marketing assets and defining comprehensive channel strategies.

🔍 We are seeking an experienced communications leader who can translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and actionable communications for Amazon Selling Partners. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in designing and implementing effective communication strategies at a senior level, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality content and driving strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

💪🏻 Success in this role requires expertise in implementing and optimizing targeted, personalized campaigns at scale. If you are passionate about leading improvements in communications roadmaps, driving effectiveness, enhancing awareness & discoverability, and optimizing usability, we invite you to join the EU Stores Sustainability Compliance team as a Senior Communications Manager.

Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Communications Manager:

✅ You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and measuring the success of mass communications and educational content used by sellers selling on EU Amazon Marketplaces.

✅ You will create and implement comprehensive communication campaigns, content strategies, and long-term roadmaps to drive awareness, education, and action from global sellers about compliance requirements.

✅ You will work with global stakeholders at senior levels to understand the business priorities that drive the need for communications and educational content, align on strategic roadmaps and content with them, and significantly raise the bar on the quality of the communications and seller experience.

✅ It's crucial that you are self-motivated to stay ahead of emerging topics and to innovate new ways to improve the effectiveness of our communication strategies.

✅ We operate in a fast-paced environment, requiring advanced business acumen, exceptional prioritization skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to new information or changes in planning while leading cross-functional teams.

✅ You will be expected to provide thought leadership, mentor junior team members, and represent the communications function in high-level strategic discussions.



About the team
Sustainability compliance encompasses all recycling regulations that sellers have to comply with in Europe, primarily Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). EPR is an environmental policy that makes sellers who first place a product subject to EPR requirements in a country responsible for the entire life cycle of the products that they introduce on the market, from their design until the end of life. We strive to continuously minimize the friction compliance generates for our sellers while minimizing the risk to our business by building products to improve the seller experience and the speed- of -compliance.- Experience in professional non-internship marketing
- Experience in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent level of qualification- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
