Verkada is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of technical solutions impacting sales, order, finance, and support teams. You'll work with AWS and Salesforce to enhance systems observability and reliability. This role requires 5+ years of experience in software engineering focused on distributed systems.
You have over 5 years of software engineering experience with a focus on distributed systems at scale — you've successfully shipped customer-facing products or internal tools and understand the complexities involved in building reliable systems. You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and are flexible and adaptive to changing needs. Your passion for observability and reliability drives you to propose improvements that enhance system performance and user experience. You possess in-depth expertise in the latest technology stacks and are eager to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and guiding them through challenges.
Experience with cloud-based solutions and familiarity with tools like AWS and Salesforce will set you apart. A background in systems engineering or architecture will also be beneficial as you lead projects from ideation to release, ensuring that all technical solutions align with business objectives.
