Overview

MongoDB is seeking a Commercial Growth Account Executive to identify new workloads and expand usage of their Database as a Service, Atlas. You'll engage with customers to enhance their experience and drive adoption. This role requires 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in database or software.

You have at least 1-2 years of sales experience, ideally in the database or software industry — you've consistently met or exceeded targets and understand the nuances of customer engagement in a tech-driven environment. Your ability to articulate complex concepts clearly makes you a valuable asset in fostering customer relationships. You are driven by results and have a knack for identifying opportunities that lead to growth. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to navigate diverse industries, allowing you to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each customer. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a dynamic sales team. You are fluent in German, which enables you to connect with a broader range of clients and stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will primarily focus on identifying new workloads to expand MongoDB's usage within existing accounts that are already leveraging Atlas in a self-serve manner. You will engage with customers at various stages of their journey, helping them understand the continuous evolution of MongoDB's developer data platform and its additional features. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include generating your own pipeline through outbound activities and articulating the value of MongoDB's expanded feature set. You will develop relationships within customer accounts to promote greater visibility and deepen partnerships with decision-makers. Your strategic approach will involve navigating diverse industries with a data-driven discovery and sales process to help land and expand customer workloads. You will also support customers by addressing any queries and ensuring optimal product usage, fostering greater adoption and retention.
