Job Description
Who you are
You have previous experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative in a similar or adjacent industry — you understand the nuances of lead generation and sales processes. You are a self-starter who proactively takes action to move conversations forward, ensuring that you maintain active engagement with both new and existing leads through strategic and personalized outreach. You are comfortable using Salesforce for lead management and sales forecasting, and you are familiar with other sales tools such as Outreach, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo.
What you'll do
In this role, you will have a direct impact on the growth of Contentful by managing our lead pipeline and identifying leads and sales opportunities with an emphasis on driving outbound activities. You will partner with Enterprise Account Executives to build their pipelines and receive consistent feedback to sharpen your skills. Your responsibilities will include documenting, mapping, and strategizing using various details such as use cases and stakeholder information to better understand how to prospect and find new opportunities in both new and existing accounts. You will prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate internal resources to move accounts through the customer journey, ensuring timely follow-up with all prospects in a fast-paced environment. Achieving monthly and quarterly goals of qualified opportunities and meetings booked for the Account Executives will be a key focus of your role.
