Google is seeking a Portfolio Management Lead for their Cloud Business Platform to manage complex, cross-functional projects and optimize business cadence. This role requires 8 years of experience in management consulting, product management, or analytics.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in management consulting, product management, or analytics within a technology company. Your background includes working with and analyzing data while managing multiple projects effectively. You possess excellent project management skills and have experience in managing complex, global, and cross-functional projects. You are adept at optimizing business cadence, including operational reviews such as OKR and initiative reviews, ensuring strategic alignment and execution. You have the ability to influence and engage with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders, driving alignment and achieving results. Your attention to detail allows you to prioritize tasks effectively and complete your workload in a timely manner.
In this role, you will oversee audit and compliance activities to ensure adherence to organizational standards and mitigate risk. You will partner with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut various teams within Google, helping products execute optimally. Your responsibilities will include managing GCBP's Objectives and Key Results (OKR) management lifecycle, which encompasses annual development, metrics definition, and quarterly tracking. You will optimize GCBP's business cadence, including operational reviews such as OKR and initiative reviews, to ensure strategic alignment and execution. Additionally, you will manage commitment and delivery communications to stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and aligned on progress. Your role will require you to analyze and understand new trends in the industry and build business plans that support the strategic goals of the organization.
