Overview

Pantheon is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead technical sales engagements and showcase their WebOps platform. You'll work closely with the sales team to drive growth across EMEA, leveraging your expertise in WordPress and Drupal. This role is remote with a focus on the UK and Ireland.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales engineering, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a technical sales role. You possess excellent communication skills and can articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Your experience with web technologies, particularly WordPress and Drupal, allows you to effectively demonstrate the value of Pantheon’s platform to potential customers. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with sales teams to drive growth and success. You are comfortable with travel across EMEA, as this role requires 30-50% travel to meet with clients and prospects.

Desirable

Experience in SaaS sales or a background in web development would be advantageous. Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and website operations will help you excel in this role. A passion for helping organizations improve their digital experiences and drive growth is essential.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead technical sales engagements from discovery through to close, partnering closely with Account Executives to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly. You will deliver compelling product demonstrations that showcase the capabilities of Pantheon’s WebOps platform, helping prospects visualize how it can meet their specific requirements. You will also provide technical support during the sales process, addressing any questions or concerns that arise. Your role will involve collaborating with the product team to relay customer feedback and insights, ensuring that Pantheon continues to evolve its offerings to meet market demands. Additionally, you will participate in training sessions to stay updated on product features and industry trends, enabling you to provide the best possible support to your sales team and clients.
