What you'll do

As an Operations Engineer at SpaceX, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Falcon Precision Tube Fabrication Shop. Your primary responsibility will be to develop tools that analyze delivery, capacity, and cost problems, which will inform decisions related to production, supply chain, and operations. You will work closely with your team to create and manage production strategies that mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities for improvement.

You will define and develop department-level metrics that quantify the health of operations, using these insights to influence changes that positively impact production deliveries. Your expertise in data visualization will be essential as you produce visual representations of data to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will lead cross-functional teams to optimize production processes. You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance safety, quality, and output while reducing costs.
