Desirable

Experience with AWS infrastructure services is a plus, as is familiarity with diesel generators and three-phase electrical systems. What you'll do

As an Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that support our data centers. You will work on stand-by diesel generators, switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and various cooling systems to ensure optimal performance. Your role will involve hands-on work, where you will diagnose issues and implement solutions to keep our facilities running smoothly. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to monitor system performance and address any operational challenges that arise. Your contributions will directly impact the uptime and reliability of our services, ensuring that customers have continual access to the cloud infrastructure they rely on.

You will also participate in routine maintenance and inspections, documenting your findings and suggesting improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Your technical expertise will be crucial in identifying potential issues before they escalate, allowing for proactive maintenance strategies.
