SpaceX is seeking a Production Project Engineer to support the construction and renovation of the Starlink production facility in Bastrop, TX. You'll work with a team of elite engineers to design and activate infrastructure projects, emphasizing heavy civil and utility components.

Who you are

You have a strong background in project engineering with at least 5 years of experience in managing construction projects, particularly in heavy civil and utility components. Your expertise in AutoCAD allows you to effectively design and visualize complex infrastructure projects, ensuring that all aspects are meticulously planned and executed. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside construction project managers, facility engineers, and designers to bring innovative solutions to life. Your ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal partners ensures that projects stay on track and meet all specifications. You are detail-oriented and possess a strong understanding of construction processes, which enables you to anticipate challenges and drive positive change within your team.

Desirable

Experience with AWS is a plus, as it can enhance your ability to integrate technology into construction processes. Familiarity with satellite technology or broadband systems would also be beneficial, given the unique nature of the Starlink project. You are adaptable and eager to learn, ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

As a Production Project Engineer at SpaceX, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of new facility construction and renovation projects at the Starlink production facility. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with a diverse team of engineers to design and activate infrastructure that supports the deployment of the world's largest satellite constellation.
