Sydecar • New York Office - Hybrid
Sydecar is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to scale their engineering and product teams during a pivotal growth phase. You'll manage full-cycle recruiting for high-priority technical roles. This position requires significant experience in technical recruitment.
You have a strong background in technical recruitment, with at least 5 years of experience in sourcing and hiring for engineering and product roles. You understand the nuances of the tech industry and are adept at identifying top talent that aligns with company culture and values. Your experience includes refining recruitment processes and improving systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in hiring. You are comfortable working closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide strategic guidance on talent acquisition. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy being hands-on in the recruitment process, from initial outreach to final offer negotiations. You are committed to creating an inclusive hiring process and are knowledgeable about best practices in diversity and inclusion.
Experience in a fast-growing startup environment is a plus, as is familiarity with venture capital or private markets. You may have a network of candidates in the tech space that you can leverage to fill roles quickly. A background in HR or People Operations can also be beneficial, as it allows you to understand the broader context of talent management within the organization.
In this role, you will own the full-cycle recruiting process for high-priority technical and product roles at Sydecar. You will collaborate closely with the Head of People and hiring managers to develop job descriptions that attract the right candidates. You will utilize various sourcing strategies, including social media, networking, and job boards, to identify potential candidates. You will conduct interviews, assess candidates' skills and cultural fit, and provide feedback to both candidates and hiring managers throughout the process. You will also be responsible for refining and improving the recruitment processes to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all parties involved. As the company grows, you will play a key role in shaping the recruitment strategy and ensuring that Sydecar continues to attract top talent in the industry.
