Verkada is seeking a Hardware Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative products. You'll collaborate with a diverse team and manage electrical engineering aspects from concept to production. This role requires expertise in electrical engineering and product development.
You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience leading product development from initial concept through to mass production. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers to create cutting-edge products. Your expertise in component selection and schematic development allows you to effectively manage hardware specifications and requirements. You are skilled in quickly prototyping new product concepts, ensuring that your designs meet both functional and aesthetic standards. You understand the importance of maintaining comprehensive documentation, including Hardware Requirements Documents, to capture all necessary specifications.
Experience with embedded systems and familiarity with industry-standard design tools such as AutoCAD or KiCAD would be beneficial. A passion for innovation and a desire to work on products that enhance safety and efficiency in organizations will set you apart.
As a Hardware Engineer at Verkada, you will lead the electrical engineering efforts for new products, guiding them from proof of concept to mass production.
