Overview

Axon is seeking an Account Manager focused on Growth & Acquisition to drive strategic growth and support public safety transformation across major law enforcement accounts. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to navigate complex government environments.

You have a proven track record in account management, particularly within the public sector, and understand the nuances of working with government agencies. Your ability to build and maintain relationships is exceptional, and you thrive in environments that require deep customer empathy and strategic thinking. You are a proactive closer who can effectively coordinate resources and drive measurable outcomes for your clients.

With experience in managing major accounts, you are adept at navigating complex organizational structures and can influence decision-makers at various levels. You possess a strong understanding of the law enforcement landscape and are passionate about leveraging technology to enhance public safety. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.

You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on long-term goals. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that client needs are met and exceeded. Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue and growth by closing new business and expanding existing accounts across a territory of major city police departments and county sheriff’s offices. You will work closely with a Key Account Leader to co-own revenue goals and deepen customer relationships. Your ability to coordinate resources effectively will be crucial in ensuring that our solutions drive measurable outcomes for clients.

You will engage in initial discovery conversations to understand client needs and challenges, crafting tailored solutions that align with their objectives. Your role will involve regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and to identify opportunities for further engagement. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure that client expectations are met and that our offerings are continuously improved based on feedback.

As you build and manage long-term growth strategies, you will analyze market trends and client feedback to inform your approach. Your insights will help shape our offerings and drive innovation within the organization. You will also participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing your expertise to help guide the direction of our growth initiatives.
