Overview

Google is seeking a Product Manager for their Data Foundry team to guide technical products from conception to launch. You'll collaborate with engineering and UX/UI teams to drive product development. This role requires 3 years of product management experience.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 3 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. You have successfully taken technical products from conception to launch, demonstrating your ability to manage projects end-to-end. Your experience includes preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership, showcasing your strong communication skills. You have worked cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders, emphasizing your collaborative approach. You understand the importance of incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies and have knowledge of building accessibility best practices. Your leadership skills enable you to drive projects forward effectively, adapting to the ever-changing landscape of technology.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. You will break down complex problems into manageable steps that drive product development. Your responsibilities will include planning and prioritizing project work, ensuring that technical products are developed with a focus on scalability. You will collaborate closely with creative engineers, designers, and marketers to design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. Your role will involve guiding products throughout the execution phase, ensuring that they meet user needs and align with business objectives. You will also be responsible for fostering a collaborative environment within the Product Management team, working with various departments such as Legal, Privacy, and Engineering to deliver safe and compliant customer journeys.
