Job Description

 

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and support a regional workplace operations team, fostering excellence, engagement, and continuous improvement in a hands-on manner
  • Localize and implement global workplace operations and experience best practices to deliver consistent, high-quality employee experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Manage regional operational budgets, including cost tracking and alignment with business goals
  • Partner with regional business stakeholders to ensure office spaces, events, and workplace initiatives support business goals and enhance employee experience.
  • Oversee relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality, compliance, and cost efficiency across the regional portfolio.
  • Work with the global real estate team on property lifecycle activities (leasing, occupancy, exit) and help translate these into regional practices
  • Participate and in some case coordinate crisis management activities such as business continuity plans and emergency responses.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Talent, GITS, InfoSec) to ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and technology standards.
  • Drive regional sustainability initiatives within workplace operations, promoting environmentally responsible practices.
  • Support and help drive community and employee engagement initiatives by collaborating with functions such as DEI/SSC, Communities of Practice and Employer Brand, Field Marketing, and other global programs.

Job qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Proven ability to strategically deliver multi-site workplace operations projects across a region, demonstrating typically 6-12 years of experience in aligning these initiatives with broader business objectives
  • Strong understanding of facilities operations, space optimization and workplace experience design, with exposure to real estate lifecycle management preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing initiatives that foster employee connection, belonging, and engagement across diverse regional teams and office locations.
  • Strong command of environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as physical and operational security standards; ensures compliance with internal and external governance frameworks.
  • Skilled in sourcing, contracting, and managing vendors, suppliers, and service partners to deliver quality, cost-effective, and reliable workplace services.
  • Adept at building and maintaining effective partnerships with senior leaders, business units, and cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities to drive favorable outcomes in contracts, property agreements, and strategic partnerships, balancing business, financial, and operational needs.
