SpaceX is hiring a Production Coordinator for their Starship program to monitor and track parts through production. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure timely delivery and workflow consistency. This role is based at Starbase, TX.
You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong ability to monitor and track parts through various stages of production. You understand the importance of workflow consistency and accuracy, and you are committed to driving down internal logistics lead-time. You have experience working collaboratively with planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to maintain clean and accurate MRP/ERP data. You are proactive in resolving issues related to incorrect system data that could impact demand and schedules.
You are skilled in developing and maintaining reports that highlight production needs, deliverables, and constraints. You are comfortable working with production supervisors and managers to ensure that all metrics-driven action requirements are completed. You have a strong focus on supporting logistics processes through innovative staging of workflow, ensuring that parts are handled and protected according to specifications.
As a Production Coordinator at SpaceX, you will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and moving parts through the company to ensure timely delivery to the next production location. You will push and pull the physical movement of parts through various work centers, including receiving inspection, stock rooms, and production resources. Your role will involve promoting workflow consistency and accuracy across the company while working to drive down internal logistics lead-time.
You will coordinate off-site processing of parts to ensure on-time delivery and collaborate with various teams to maintain clean and accurate MRP/ERP data. You will assist in resolving incorrect system data that could lead to inappropriate demand or scheduling issues. Additionally, you will update and utilize metrics to drive results in collaboration with production personnel.
Your responsibilities will also include developing and maintaining reports to highlight production needs and constraints for both internal and customer use. You will support production leadership and project teams with action item updates and contribute to logistics processes through innovative workflow staging.
