Familiarity with cooling systems and UPS technology will also be beneficial as you work to maintain our mission-critical facilities.

What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of our data centers — your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and operating electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure seamless operations. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and various cooling systems, contributing to our goal of achieving 99.999% uptime.

You will be part of a dedicated team that supports AWS infrastructure services — your expertise will directly impact the reliability of our global digital experiences. You will engage in hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and efficiently.

Your role will involve collaborating with software, hardware, and network engineers — you will participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions about improving operational efficiency and reliability.
