Block is seeking a Business Development Representative Associate to help build their Sales Development organization. You'll identify prospective sellers and promote the value of Square's integrated solutions. This role requires strong business insight and sales instincts.
You are a motivated professional with a natural instinct for sales and a sound understanding of business dynamics. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a growing sales team. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships will be key in identifying prospective sellers and promoting the value of Square's offerings. You are excited about the opportunity to help sellers of all sizes enhance their operations and grow their businesses.
Experience in sales or customer-facing roles is a plus, but not required. A background in technology or financial services can help you understand the products and services you will be promoting. You are adaptable and willing to learn about the evolving landscape of commerce and how Square fits into it.
In this role, you will lay the foundation for Square's sales efforts by identifying potential sellers and engaging them with the value of our integrated solutions. You will work closely with the Sales Development team to develop strategies for outreach and engagement. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research to identify new business opportunities, reaching out to potential clients, and effectively communicating the benefits of Square's products. You will also collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless transition for new clients into the Square ecosystem.
