Who you are

You have a strong background in electrical engineering with experience in hardware testing and reliability. You understand the importance of thorough hardware bring-up, characterization, and qualification testing — ensuring that products meet rigorous standards throughout their lifecycle. You are detail-oriented and take extreme ownership of your work, driving improvements to processes and controls. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable tackling previously unsolved or unknown problems. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams and think at a system level to ensure design viability. You are passionate about contributing to innovative projects that push the limits of technology and exploration.

Desirable

Experience with government or national security projects is a plus, as is familiarity with satellite technology or communications systems. A background in reliability engineering or testing methodologies will help you excel in this role. You are adaptable and eager to learn, ready to take on new challenges as the Starshield program grows.

What you'll do

As an Electrical Test and Reliability Engineer on the Starshield team, you will be responsible for conducting detailed hardware testing to ensure reliability from production to orbit. You will collaborate with various teams to identify and implement improvements in hardware design and testing processes. Your role will involve rigorous exploration of solutions for complex engineering challenges, requiring you to think critically and creatively. You will document your findings and communicate results to stakeholders, ensuring that all aspects of the hardware lifecycle are considered.
