Wizeline is hiring a Senior Python Software Engineer to design and develop scalable backend services and data pipelines. You'll work with AWS and Python to deliver high-impact solutions. This role requires strong collaboration and mentoring skills.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly with Python, and have a strong understanding of backend development principles. You are skilled in designing and developing scalable backend services and distributed systems, and you have experience working with data pipelines that process large volumes of data on AWS. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences. You have a passion for mentoring and coaching engineers at all levels, fostering a culture of growth and engineering excellence.
You are familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and have experience participating in product development processes. You understand the importance of applying AI-driven solutions and automation to improve operational efficiency and data quality. You are proactive in evaluating and recommending new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance architecture and developer productivity. You are committed to promoting best practices that improve code quality and team efficiency.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and optimizing developer experience through tooling and automation would be a plus. Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in software development is also desirable.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain robust full-stack features that deliver intuitive user experiences. You will lead the development of scalable backend services and distributed systems, ensuring they meet the needs of high-impact customer-facing solutions. You will apply AI-driven solutions to enhance data quality and operational efficiency, continuously seeking ways to improve the developer experience through tooling and automation.
You will mentor and coach engineers, sharing your expertise and promoting a culture of ownership and growth within the team. You will participate in an Agile/Scrum-based product development process, contributing to sprint planning and execution. You will evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks to improve architecture and performance, ensuring that the team stays at the forefront of industry standards.
