Apple is hiring an Optical Science Engineer specializing in Biophotonics to develop test methods for optical-sensor systems. You'll collaborate on innovative optical technology prototypes and require a strong background in optics and programming skills in MATLAB and Python.
You hold a BS degree in Optics, Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and testing free-space optical systems. Your programming experience includes MATLAB and Python, which you have used to analyze data and develop experimental methods. With 3+ years of relevant industry experience, you are well-versed in the principles of optical science and have a comprehensive understanding of optical sensor systems.

Your analytical mindset allows you to tackle complex challenges, and you are passionate about developing innovative solutions that can lead to groundbreaking products.
