Google is seeking a Strategy and Operations Lead for their Ads Go-To-Market team to drive product performance and optimize business processes. This role requires strong management consulting or business strategy experience and excellent communication skills.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory. If you hold an advanced degree, 4 years of relevant experience is sufficient. You excel at managing relationships and working cross-functionally within global organizations, demonstrating a solid understanding of the Global Business Organization (GBO) and its various business channels and teams. Your ability to articulate the big picture to executive teams while maintaining attention to execution details sets you apart. You possess excellent communication skills that help teams move with greater speed and efficiency towards significant outcomes. Your program management skills enable you to manage multiple projects simultaneously across Alphabet’s different divisions.
As a member of the Ads Strategist team, you will ensure that Google delivers the highest performing ads products to its advertisers. You will lead cross-Ads and GBO projects with full autonomy, accelerating Google’s Product to Market to Product cycle and driving greater product portfolio strategy. Your influence will extend to product executives’ decision-making processes, holding teams accountable for product performance outcomes amidst competing VP-level priorities. You will closely partner with leaders from Ads, GTM, PSA, gTech, Finance, and other divisions to drive operational excellence for the organization. This includes optimizing resource allocation, measuring progress against key objectives, and managing business updates or quarterly reviews. You will analyze business processes to identify potential issues and uncover levers for improvement, influencing executive stakeholders to implement standardization and optimization strategies.
