Who you are

You have 8 to 11 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong background in pre-sales for enterprise software. Your technical expertise includes a minimum of 3 years working with modern scripting languages such as Python and Node.js, as well as popular programming languages like Java, C#, and C++. You have a proven track record of designing scalable and highly available distributed systems, both in the cloud and on-premises. Your ability to work closely with customers to review complex architectures and provide guidance is a key strength.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside sales executives to solve business problems and drive success for customers. Your experience in technical sales has equipped you with the skills to be a trusted advisor to a diverse range of clients, from startups to large enterprise IT organizations. You are passionate about technology and committed to ensuring that customer needs align with the solutions offered by MongoDB.

Desirable

Experience with cloud technologies and deployment strategies is a plus. Familiarity with MongoDB's data platform will enhance your ability to guide customers effectively. What you'll do

As a Senior Solutions Architect at MongoDB, you will play a critical role in the Pre-Sales organization, ensuring that our growth is supported by strong technical alignment with our platform. You will guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems, leveraging your deep understanding of our data platform. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with sales teams to identify customer needs, providing technical expertise during the sales process, and helping to win deals by demonstrating the value of our solutions.

You will engage with customers to understand their business challenges and translate those into technical requirements. Your role will involve reviewing existing application architectures and providing guidance on best practices for leveraging MongoDB's capabilities. You will also participate in customer meetings, delivering presentations and demonstrations that showcase how our solutions can address their specific needs.

In addition to direct customer engagement, you will contribute to the development of technical resources and documentation that support the sales team. Your insights will help shape the way we communicate our value proposition and ensure that our messaging resonates with potential clients. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles.
