Who you are

You hold a Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. With 3 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, you are proficient in coding with Python, R, and SQL. You have a strong background in querying databases and conducting statistical analysis, or you may possess a PhD degree. Your experience includes working with Large Language Models (LLMs) or applied AI, showcasing your ability to handle complex data challenges.

You are a detail-oriented individual who understands the importance of data quality and integrity. You have a proven track record of gathering, extracting, and compiling data across various sources using relevant tools. Your analytical mindset allows you to format, restructure, and validate data effectively, ensuring it is ready for analysis. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to the development of advanced ad products that drive significant growth for Google.

Desirable

You have a passion for working on exciting projects related to AI and are familiar with the latest advancements in the field. Your ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders is a valuable asset. What you'll do

As a Research Data Scientist in the Ads Metrics team, you will support the Search Ads and Google Experience (SAGE) organization in developing critical ad products. Your role will involve using analytics to solve product and business problems, leveraging your coding skills in Python, R, and SQL.
