You'll work with technologies like React, Node.js, and AWS to optimize and scale enterprise-level applications. This role requires strong architectural skills and experience in leading engineering teams.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable and reliable applications. Your expertise in JavaScript and frameworks like React has allowed you to create dynamic user interfaces that enhance user experience. You are well-versed in Node.js and have experience developing APIs that are efficient and maintainable. Your background includes managing cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS, where you've implemented CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You are passionate about mentoring junior engineers and elevating the technical standards of your team. You understand the importance of architectural clarity and are motivated by the impact your work has on the business and its users.

Desirable

Experience with modular design principles and performance optimization techniques is a plus. Familiarity with observability tools and practices will help you contribute to the platform's reliability and efficiency. A background in financial applications or services can provide valuable insights into the unique challenges of this domain.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the architectural strategy for a platform that powers form flows and integrated financial services. You will own the development of a React/Redux single-page application, ensuring it meets performance and modularity standards. Your responsibilities will include driving the development of a Node.js API ecosystem, focusing on optimizing reliability and integration patterns. You will manage the infrastructure deployed via AWS ECS, supporting automated CI/CD pipelines and ensuring robust observability across the platform. Collaboration with stakeholders will be key as you translate business goals into scalable systems that balance user agency with revenue performance. You will also take on a leadership role, guiding other engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence within the team.

You will have the opportunity to work on a platform that has a direct impact on the company's revenue and user satisfaction. We provide a flexible work arrangement, allowing for both hybrid and remote work options. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion ensures that all employees feel valued and supported. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe in the potential of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
