You have 5+ years of experience in engineering management, particularly in observability or related fields — you've successfully led teams that design and implement large-scale monitoring solutions. Your technical background includes deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, enabling you to guide your team effectively through complex challenges. You are skilled in using tools like AWS and Elasticsearch, and you understand the intricacies of handling massive data volumes. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, encouraging your team to push boundaries while maintaining high standards of reliability and performance.
You are adept at strategic planning and execution — you can translate high-level goals into actionable plans that your team can follow. You have experience in architecting observability solutions that support billions of active time series and process petabytes of logs daily. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders ensures that everyone is aligned and informed.
Experience with Grafana and Kubernetes is a plus, as you will be overseeing the deployment of observability infrastructure across multiple cloud regions. Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation will also be beneficial in this role.
