Google is seeking a Product Manager II for Cross Product Safety at YouTube. You'll drive product initiatives from conception to launch while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires 5+ years of experience in product management and familiarity with machine learning and APIs.
You have 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role, with a strong background in taking products from conception to launch, particularly in the Trust and Safety domain. Your experience includes working with cross-functional teams, including policy development and operations, which has equipped you with the ability to drive initiatives involving multiple product teams. You are familiar with machine learning and detection, and you understand the importance of setting policies and compliance in product development. Your excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills allow you to operate effectively in a constantly evolving environment. You are adaptable and excited to work on products that impact millions of users every day.
In this role, you will guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will collaborate with Feature teams, Trust and Safety Product and Engineering teams, and other key stakeholders to drive the successful execution of safety plans. Your responsibilities will include developing the goals and strategies for platform-level product roadmaps that enhance Trust and Safety efficiencies, resulting in faster onboarding times for Feature teams. You will also be tasked with influencing and communicating cross-functionally with all levels of management, ensuring that all teams are aligned and informed throughout the product development process. Your ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps will be crucial in driving product development forward.
