Japan Store Tech - Knowledge and Data Tech Team is responsible for building a comprehensive knowledge and data taxonomy. By seamlessly integrating business data with agentic AI capabilities, we systematically organize and harness valuable insights to empower users across the organization. Our mission is to enable reliable analysis and better-informed decision-making with AI to drive long-term success for the Amazon Japan Store business. We achieve this by establishing a robust data foundation, powering innovative services, and continuously elevating our expertise in knowledge and data management. Leveraging your deep data infrastructure expertise, you will collaborate closely with scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to uncover strategic data opportunities and bring them to life through innovative solutions.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and implementation of complex data pipelines for business needs.
- Design scalable data models.
- Coordinate with business teams to onboard business datasets.- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tools to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports.- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
