Plaid is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager for their FinOps team to oversee financial accountability and optimization across engineering-related spending. You'll work at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Finance to ensure transparent and intentional spending decisions.
You have a strong background in program management, ideally with experience in financial operations or technology spending. You understand the complexities of managing budgets and optimizing costs while maintaining engineering velocity. Your ability to collaborate across teams is essential, as you will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Finance to align spending with business priorities. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for ensuring transparency in financial decisions, enabling teams to take ownership of their budgets. You thrive in environments where you can influence and drive change, helping teams understand their financial impact and optimize their resources effectively.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, and data workloads is a plus, as these areas are critical to Plaid's operations. Familiarity with financial tools and SaaS products will also be beneficial in this role. You are comfortable navigating complex financial landscapes and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
