Apple is hiring a Test Automation Engineer for the Online Store team to enhance application testing and improve team velocity through automation. You'll work with tools like Selenium and Playwright, and have exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
You have a strong background in software testing, particularly in functional and integration quality assurance testing, and you approach your work with a hands-on mentality. You are skilled in building effective test plans and cases, and you analyze automation suites to target the reduction of regression tests. Your experience allows you to work closely with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and execute them efficiently. You are motivated to continually research and apply the latest technologies to improve testing processes and practices. You possess excellent collaboration, organizational, and communication skills, enabling you to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP and containerization technologies like Docker would be a plus. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
