Sr. Web Developer - AEC Integration

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in web development, particularly in integrating complex systems. Your background includes working with GIS and BIM technologies, and you understand the importance of seamless data integration for asset design and operation. You are proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, and you have experience developing RESTful APIs that facilitate communication between different platforms. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners and engineers, is essential for success in this role.

You are familiar with industry standards for BIM and GIS, such as IFC and 3D Tiles, and you have a strong understanding of how these technologies can be leveraged to improve workflows in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sectors. You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality, user-focused solutions that meet the needs of stakeholders. What you'll do

In this role, you will design and implement integration solutions between the ArcGIS geospatial cloud and various cloud-based BIM systems. You will develop public and internal RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange, ensuring that users can access critical information efficiently. Your work will involve creating TypeScript components and widgets that are compatible with ArcGIS Experience Builder, enhancing the user experience for clients in the AEC industry.

You will collaborate closely with product engineers and software engineering peers to define the future of GIS-AEC integration. Your contributions will help streamline workflows for engineers, planners, and stakeholders, ultimately improving the design, construction, and operation of sustainable infrastructure. You will also be responsible for automating geoprocessing tools to link and manage data effectively, ensuring that the integration solutions you develop are reliable and scalable.
