Staff Software Engineer Tech Lead, Full Stack

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in software development. Your background includes 5 years of experience testing and launching software products, and you possess strong full-stack development skills across backend technologies like Java, Python, Golang, or C++, as well as front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. You have a solid understanding of software design and architecture, with at least 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role where you've led project teams and set technical direction. Your expertise in data structures and algorithms is backed by 8 years of experience, and you thrive in cross-functional or cross-business project environments.

Desirable

A Master’s degree or PhD in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field would be a plus. Experience in information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile technologies is also desirable.

What you'll do

In this role, you will provide technical leadership on high-impact projects that are critical to Google’s needs.
