Who you are

You are a deeply technical engineer with a strong background in software development, particularly in cloud environments. You thrive in fast-moving, startup-like settings within large organizations, and you have a passion for solving complex problems. Your experience includes designing and developing software that manages verification and testing processes, ensuring high standards for hardware reliability. You stay close to customer needs while also focusing on systems architecture and design, understanding the importance of delivering quality solutions.

Desirable

Experience with AWS services such as EC2, EBS, and S3 is a plus, as is familiarity with large-scale service architectures. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and are eager to iterate on ideas to create products that customers love. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be key to your success in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for building the next generation of platform-level software that supports AWS hardware health. You will design and deliver technology solutions that address challenging business problems, ensuring that AWS customers receive the capacity they need to run their applications on healthy hardware servers. Your work will involve identifying solutions, experimenting with new ideas, and iterating on products to meet customer expectations. You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, and will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform.
