Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Auto Mechanic to perform light to medium automotive repairs and diagnostics. You'll work on various vehicle systems including radiators, timing belts, and climate control. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
You have at least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your ability to handle a variety of automotive issues with confidence and skill. Your background includes performing general automotive repairs such as working on radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems. You are familiar with completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles, and you have experience in vehicle climate control repair and replacement for ACs and heater cores. You are detail-oriented and take pride in delivering high-quality work that meets safety and performance standards.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with a team of skilled technicians. Your communication skills allow you to effectively interact with colleagues and customers, ensuring that everyone is informed about the status of repairs and any necessary follow-up actions. While not required, having ASE certification would be a plus, as it demonstrates your commitment to the profession and your expertise in automotive repair. Familiarity with state-of-the-art tools and technology used in modern automotive repair shops is also advantageous, as it allows you to work efficiently and effectively.
As a Mid-Level Auto Mechanic at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing light to medium automotive repairs on a variety of vehicles. This includes diagnosing issues and completing repairs on essential systems such as radiators, timing belts, and suspension systems. You will also handle repairs for wheel bearings and axles, ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers.
In addition to mechanical repairs, you will be tasked with vehicle climate control repair and replacement, specifically working on AC systems and heater cores. Your role will require you to use state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, allowing you to deliver high-quality service efficiently.
You will collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely manner and to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in maintaining Carvana's reputation as a leading used automotive retailer.
