Senior Fullstack Engineer (Exam prep)

• Senior Full-Stack Engineer in ExamPrep Team – Our mission is to empower healthcare professional learners to succeed in exams and master medical knowledge by providing tailored and adaptive Qbank content, predictive analytics, and personalized study recommendations—so they can approach exams with confidence. We directly support today’s and tomorrow’s medical professionals worldwide.

You will:

• Dive into a broad, complex product domain and become an expert in both the technical landscape and medical-education needs.

• Drive the delivery of a personalized learning experience powered by deep analytical insights.

• Scale our platform to serve users across the globe and across medical disciplines.

• Own features end-to-end: designing, developing, deploying, and iterating based on measurable impact.

• Develop testable prototypes and turn them into production systems.

• Contribute to the team’s product roadmap, long-term vision, and strategy.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, medical editors, and marketers.

• Strengthen our engineering culture by sharing knowledge, practices, and learnings.

• Join team workshops in AMBOSS offices (travel every ~2 months).

You bring:

• Strong Python experience and solid backend development skills.

• Strong frontend foundations with React and the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.

• Experience building and integrating APIs (GraphQL & REST).

• Confidence in database design and data modeling for large-scale products.

• Hands-on experience with testing and observability practices.

• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes (bonus).
