What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the design and pre-construction phases of Amazon's fulfillment centers across the United States. You will lead project management efforts, ensuring that all aspects of construction are planned and executed according to Amazon's high standards. Your role will involve collaborating closely with design and engineering teams to develop project plans that align with operational needs and customer expectations.

You will serve as Amazon's representative, interfacing with general contractors and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and project execution. Your ability to integrate construction efforts with other operational requirements will be essential in ensuring that fulfillment centers are equipped and operational in a timely manner.

You will oversee the management of contracts, ensuring compliance with all agreements and regulations. Your attention to detail will help mitigate risks and address any issues that arise during the construction process. You will also be responsible for tracking project progress, managing budgets, and reporting on key performance indicators to senior management.

Your role will require approximately 60% regional travel, allowing you to oversee multiple projects and ensure that they are progressing as planned. When not traveling, you will work from a corporate office, collaborating with other teams to align on project goals and strategies.
