What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend systems that support Verkada's security solutions. You will own and maintain a public API that allows customers to access historical footage from security cameras. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our products, ensuring they receive timely notifications about live events.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and marketing, to develop tools that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Your ability to communicate effectively will help bridge gaps between teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals.

As you build backend applications from end-to-end, you will adopt an owner’s mentality, taking pride in the quality and performance of your code. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems, ensuring they can handle the demands of our growing user base.
