Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, along with 5 years of experience in assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions across various security domains. Your background includes 5 years in a customer-facing investigative role in cybersecurity or cyber threat intelligence, where you've successfully delivered cyber outcomes and identified mission risks. You possess the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, which is essential for this role. Your expertise extends to certifications related to specific cloud platforms and experience with cloud governance, allowing you to implement industry-leading practices around cyber risks and cloud security frameworks.

You excel in conveying governance principles to cloud computing in terms of policies, demonstrating excellent time and project management skills. Your experience with Advanced Intelligence Access (AIA) showcases your capability to provide tailored cyber threat intelligence to clients, enhancing their security posture. You are comfortable working closely with national intelligence services and large government ministries, ensuring that your communication is effective for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable

While not mandatory, experience with specific cloud platforms and certifications will set you apart. Your familiarity with industry standards for cloud security frameworks will be beneficial in this role, as will your ability to transform raw intelligence from various sources into actionable reports and briefings.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, generating Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and performing analysis of customer data. You will take bespoke sources to identify threat activity and build automated investigative workflows. Your responsibilities will include transforming raw intelligence from various sources, including sensors, incident response engagements, and security tools, into actionable insights that can be communicated effectively to clients. You will work closely with the Strategic Intelligence and Government (SIG) team, supporting government sector customers and collaborating with national intelligence services.

Your role will involve assessing mission risks and devising solutions that align with client needs. You will be responsible for delivering cyber outcomes that enhance the security posture of your clients, ensuring that they are equipped to handle emerging threats. You will also engage in continuous learning and adaptation to stay ahead of the evolving cybersecurity landscape, contributing to the development of best practices within the team.

What we offer

At Google, you will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and collaboration. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will have access to cutting-edge tools and resources that will enable you to excel in your role and make a significant impact on our clients' cybersecurity strategies. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
