Prime Video is currently seeking a Live Video Solution Architect to work with external and internal technology partners to manage technical integration for live television channels. This role will focus on developing strong technical partnership with live broadcasters, cable networks, live media solution providers, AWS and Prime Video engineering teams. The Live Video Solution Architect will design and improve the specifications and workflows for acquisition and ingestion of live video content, drive innovations in live broadcast at scale on Prime Video. This role also represents Prime Video to the wider digital video industry, contributing to working groups and helping to define future live broadcast standards.
The ideal candidate for this role will have in-depth knowledge of live video broadcast and related industry standards, and have a proven track record of working on scalable solutions for the ingestion and processing for live video.
A day in the life
- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
