Senior Workday HCM Engineer

You have extensive experience in HR systems, particularly with Workday HCM, and a strong understanding of Human Capital Management processes. Your hands-on skills allow you to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring that the Workday platform operates smoothly and meets business needs. You are adept at gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into technical solutions that enhance user experience. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful HR initiatives. Your analytical mindset enables you to evaluate existing solutions and recommend enhancements that align with evolving business requirements. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to optimize HR processes through technology.

Desirable

Experience with additional Workday modules such as Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, Learning, People Analytics, and Peakon is a plus. Familiarity with AI and data-driven decision-making in HR contexts will set you apart. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for leveraging technology to drive productivity in HR functions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable features for the Workday HCM platform. You will collaborate with the People Operations team to provide both functional and technical support for HR initiatives, ensuring that the Workday applications are optimized for efficiency and user satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include gathering requirements from stakeholders, proposing innovative solutions, and integrating cross-functional needs into the Workday system. You will troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and technical issues, maintaining a high level of service for all users. Regular updates on project progress will be part of your role, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives. You will also evaluate existing solutions, recommending technical enhancements to meet the evolving needs of the organization. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of HR processes and the overall employee experience at Celonis.
