What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Coupang, you will play a critical role in enhancing our Rocket Growth business, which focuses on providing sellers with a world-class delivery and post-purchase experience. You will design and implement scalable backend systems that support our Rocket delivery network, ensuring that our services are reliable and efficient. You will collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver features that meet customer needs. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers to foster their growth. You will also be involved in performance tuning and optimization of existing systems to handle increasing traffic and data loads. You will participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall technical direction of the team.
