Zscaler is seeking a Federal Security Platforms Lead (Principal Information Security Engineer) to build and own the security detection and response platform for a dedicated DoD/DoW IL6 cloud environment. You'll architect Splunk Enterprise Security and establish critical data pipelines. This role requires extensive experience in information security.
You have a strong background in information security, with a focus on building and managing security platforms. Your experience includes architecting solutions that enhance security posture and compliance, particularly in federal environments. You are skilled in using Splunk for security analytics and have a deep understanding of cloud security principles. You thrive in collaborative environments and are driven by a purpose to protect sensitive data and systems. You have a proven track record of leading teams and projects, ensuring that security measures are effectively implemented and maintained. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of federal regulations and security requirements.
Experience with DoD/DoW environments is a plus, as is familiarity with IL6 cloud standards. You may also have certifications such as CISSP or CISM, which demonstrate your commitment to the field of information security. A background in automation and orchestration tools would further enhance your candidacy, as would experience in incident response and threat hunting.
