CI&T is seeking a Mid Level QA Manual Tester to ensure the quality of web and mobile applications through comprehensive testing. You'll work with both front-end and back-end applications, utilizing your skills in manual and automated testing.
You have proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role, focusing on both manual and ideally automated testing. Your advanced English proficiency allows you to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of testing methodologies. You are familiar with bug-tracking tools and have experience in designing and executing test plans for web and mobile applications. Your background includes exposure to financial or operational reporting data, and you have a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing.
In this role, you will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both web and mobile applications. You will perform manual testing of front-end interfaces to ensure a seamless user experience and adherence to design specifications. Additionally, you will conduct back-end testing to verify data integrity, API functionality, and overall system performance. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to identify and resolve quality issues. You will also be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools. Continuous improvement is part of your role, as you will work to enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve product quality and team efficiency. Mentoring junior QA team members will be part of your responsibilities, contributing to their professional development.
